Sidney and Matt got married at Salisbury House in Des Moines on one of those perfect fall days that we all live for in the Midwest.

The venue itself is a historic Des Moines landmark – a Tudor mansion with sweeping grounds and gardens, candlelit walls, oil paintings, and chandeliers – a serious dream combination for the Super 8 format, and this wedding did it full justice.

Sidney designed the entire event herself, and it shows in every frame. The flowers by Wildflower were loose, romantic, and full of color – exactly the kind of detail that real film was made to capture. And when Sidney stepped into that dress – those dreamy off-the-shoulder sleeves, that cathedral veil – she looked like she belonged in one of those paintings on the wall.

The outdoor ceremony in the gardens with all that fall color was its own kind of magic. There's something about real film that doesn't just document a beautiful day – it transforms it into something that feels genuinely timeless.
