Natalie and Alex got married on a warm summer day at Rollins Mansion in Des Moines, Iowa, surrounded by their closest family and friends.  I always love capturing weddings when the guest list is kept intimate – people relax, the formality falls away. You seem to gain more access to real laughter, quietly falling (happy) tears, & those moments between people who are genuinely and feeling all the feels. That's exactly what this day had in abundance.

It was a wedding that honestly felt made for Super 8. The golden light spilling across the gardens, the quiet in-between moments, a bride who looked completely at ease in the most beautiful way. There's something about shooting on real film that feels right for days like this – it doesn't just document, it preserves. The grain, the warmth, the way color sits on film – it all adds up to something that feels less like a video and more like a memory.

This one is a perfect example of why I love what Super 8 can do.
