Leah and Darrell's St. Paul elopement was quiet, intentional, and full of unexpected joy. After getting ready together, they drove through downtown in a vintage baby blue LeMans before exchanging vows inside Saint Paul City Hall and the Ramsey County Courthouse — surrounded by towering marble interiors, gold art deco details, and soft natural light.
Leah wore a silk Kamperett gown paired with sculptural florals by Apricot Floral — understated and modern against one of the most dramatic courthouse interiors in the Midwest.
After the ceremony, they walked outside to find a group of their closest friends waiting — who had been told by Darrell that he was proposing that day. Instead, they got to announce they'd already gotten married. The surprise was completely flipped, and the reaction was everything.
Photographed with a candid, film-inspired approach, the day moved naturally between the architecture, the quiet in-between moments, and portraits that leaned into light, shadow, and movement.
