San Francisco City Hall Elopement — Nicole & Alex

Nicole and Alex's San Francisco City Hall elopement was quiet, intentional, and deeply their own. Their ceremony unfolded inside one of California's most iconic civic landmarks — where marble staircases, soaring rotunda ceilings, and soft natural light through Beaux-Arts windows made every frame feel effortlessly cinematic.

Nicole wore a modern gown from Anthropologie Weddings paired with an unstructured bouquet by The Petaler SF. Alex kept things classic in a tailored Indochino suit. Custom wedding rings by Bruce Owen Jewelry Design completed the day with something entirely personal.

Photographed in a film-inspired, editorial style, the gallery moves between sweeping architectural moments and quiet in-between frames — the kind that feel lived-in rather than staged.

After the ceremony, we took the day north along the California coast. Portraits at Sutro Baths gave way to golden-hour views above Mount Tamalpais, adding movement and a distinctly Northern California mood to their story. It's a reminder that an elopement doesn't have to end at the altar — it can become a full, unhurried day entirely your own.
