Angel + Mike are my kind of bride and groom. Angel contacted me via telephone one day while I was in LA, very casually asking me if I had this date open and could I shoot her wedding – if so she’d love to work with me. She wanted an intimate wedding that was just about herself, her future husband Mike, and their families. The most laid back couple of all time, I thought? Is this too good to be true? A few weeks before the wedding I ask to see her dress, and am basically drooling over this Lakum sheath dress that she picked out at The White Room in Minneapolis – along with a golden beetle and jewel encrusted headpiece by Suma Cruz. I mean c’mon. I made Jerry pinch me I was so/ am so in love with all of it. If I ever get married I might just copy all of it, sorry Angel ; )
